Bio:

Lois is a qualified Level 3 PT who holds over a decade of experience in international professional football which he cites has taught him a lot about fitness and exercise but also opened him up to lots of different people and how everyone can be so unique physically and mentally. He supports clients through specific training based on what their individual needs are, whether that’s sport specific and improving the key fundamentals required for particular sports or improving general fitness and well-being through a more goal-based fitness plan.

  • “Nobody ever regrets exercise, so for me to guide them through sessions and programs that they might not do alone, or put the client(s) on programmes to achieve results specific to their individual goals, gives both the client and me a sense of fulfilment - and I love that. Whether it’s helping improve athletes in their sport, and/or helping improve one’s fitness, health, and quality of life…I equally enjoy the client satisfaction, and I want to continue to help and guide people to be the best versions of themselves.”

Lois says that working at TPS is everything he could’ve asked for, believing that the environment plays a huge part in somebody enjoying what they do. “Being here has helped me learn a lot, be it different exercises to new information. Not only is the environment a great one, the people in it are a joy to be around and are always at hand to share their own knowledge.”

She puts a continual focus on learning and improving through research and mentoring and proudly helps her clients implement healthy habits into their lifestyle in order to achieve their goals in a sustainable way - for long term results. Mindset is also a big focus:

“I’m a strong believer in doing something because it makes you feel good, not because you have to. I go above and beyond for my clients because I’m just as passionate about their achievements as they are. [...] Getting to see my clients achieve things they didn’t think they could, that is pure magic.”

Working at The Performance Space over the last two years has helped Zoe grow her full-time business and enables her to deliver a high level of service to clients. Her next goal is to develop further as a coach in biomechanics and one of her main passions, nutrition.

“In my free time you’ll find me cooking up a storm in my kitchen with some music on, out for food and drinks with my friends or exploring new places with my partner.”

After making huge progress with his own physique inspired a period of extensive learning and research in anatomy, nutrition and exercise execution, Nathan started helping friends which led him to start his own business in personal training and online coaching. Since then, he has been mentored by industry leaders and completed countless courses and seminars and is always looking to learn from others, taking satisfaction in then applying his learnings to develop the service he offers.

  • Nathan helps clients by establishing what the ultimate goal is and then mapping out the journey to get there:

“Throughout the process, we build the necessary habits and make improvements each week to get us to the end destination, which usually far surpasses initial expectations. [...]

Seeing my clients achieve results they never previously believed possible, and how they develop throughout the journey, not just physically but mentally, to realise their true potential is the most enjoyable part of my job”.

Since joining The Performance Space Nathan has been able to diversify and provide more value to clients. Next on his hit list are a bunch of personal national and international amateur bodybuilding competitions whilst professionally he aims to continue to develop his own business and ‘change as many lives as possible’. But it’s not all work, he’ll be balancing that with spending as much time as possible with his Boston Terrier, Ronnie.

Seeing clients increase their performance and get the best out of themselves is by far the best part of what I do.

There are no restrictions on food or going out enjoying yourself as there’s no point in working hard in the gym and not being able to enjoy yourself at the weekend!”
